On Second Thought

I’m tempted to say that the three things most important to career happiness are: vocation, vocation, vocation.  Of course, it’s actually:  Take lots of vacation.  Take lots of vacation.  Take lots of vacation.

Yes, this was 33 words for Trifecta’s weekend thing, Trifextra.  I didn’t like the prompt at first, but it grew on me.  Like a fungus.

I kid, about the fungus.  That’s what I like about the Trifecta thing, is the completely unexpected prompts.  Plus the weekend 33 word limit (this time it was anything up to 33 words) makes reading the entries so much easier.

Have a nice weekend, y’all.  Will write sometime, on a topic that I think up all by myself.

  7. This was fun and unexpected. I think I had the same initial and then second reaction to the prompt. Truth is, I almost always have that reaction and then jump in anyway.

vacation? I think I know that word . . . but, then, I DO have about 150 hours of leave time untaken 😦 If only my boss would quit leaving me in charge when SHE goes away we might be able to take our time off at the same time. harumpf . . . oh, and good take on the prompt. 🙂

  9. Haha! Too true! Vacation is where it’s at! Thanks for linking up!

  10. The tension is uncoiling it’s grip on my shoulders as I type this comment! Vacations: I’m all for them!!!! 🙂
