All About Time

They met on the dating website “Our Time.”  She caught him sleeping with her younger sister, one time.  She stabbed him through the heart, with his father’s Japanese WWII bayonet, in no time.

———

For fun and for Trifecta.  They wanted an entire story in 3 sentences, no word limit, which, if WWII is just one word, doesn’t matter to this story; it’s still 33 words.  He should have hidden the key to the gun cabinet a lot better, huh?  Oh, you say he should have stayed away from the sister instead?  Well, you never saw her, did you, so shut up.   😉

This does support the idea of keeping weapons in a locked safe (and not sleeping around) 🙂

  2. Ouch! I love the humour in this. especially after realizing that “Our Time” is a real dating website for older people 🙂

Interestingly i was listening to the Nokia 1980s Pop music feed and I heard Cyndi lauper’s Time after time. I think this read while that played in the background would sound about right.

This sort of flash fiction deserves an epic high-five. I’m sending you this telepathically, as if I attemped to do this physically, I would end up putting my hand through the computer screen.
