Simpler Times

Remember when?
The whir of a mosquito
Didn’t maybe mean death?
The gleam in a girl’s eye
Wasn’t for some other guy?
The song in your heart
Said something other than just blah?

  8. Anna says:

I have too much blah in my heart right now Much, much too much blah.

    • Me also. It takes me 2 weeks to feel like replying to comments, if I feel like doing anything at all. I feel like saying “it’s blah here too”, but that it would be like saying to my next door neighbor, “Well it’s been cold and gray and rainy here” and him saying “That’s funny–it’s been cold and gray and rainy here also.” I guess we both know it’s blah at times, though, since the grass is always greener on the other side, I’m sure your blah-ness will leave faster than mine. 😉

  9. No. Don’t remember those…! But like the poem.
